This Project explores the Edge where the shifting visceral boundary of the Western Isles meets the Atlantic. By focusing my time on small landscapes, I sought the strong Atlantic breeze, the ancient weathered rocks and the constant receding tides that cast their solitude upon the shore. This work serves as a collection of observations on harmony, where the raw energy of the sea and the stillness of the land balance. Rather than a single focal point, this series of images relies on the collective rhythm of tone, texture and form to work in harmony. From the sculpture errisoon of the stone to the fleeting patterns etched in the sand. These images invite the viewer to slow down and observe the quiet, intricate details that define this constant dialogue between the elements.
