This Project encompasses the character and presence of Scots Pine trees in the Scottish landscape. Focusing on how luminosity, Form, atmosphere and texture can shape our perception of these distinctive ancient woodlands. Through this Project, I hope to highlight the small and quiet powers these natural environments hold, once dominating the Scottish landscape, now being a rare sight. In this Project, I hope to create a sense of connection with the environment and show the death, renewal and change seen through the last remaining areas of this ancient woodland.
